Guten Tag, rando! Welcome to one of my tiny pockets of this familiar hellscape broadly known as "The Internet".The name's James, though you may know me as Buck, Remi, Phish, or even Audrey.Some of my Meet The Artist info is now out of date, but the right column is generally the same! Chat with me about my interests and we'll be close in no time, I'm sure.

I am a two-time admin for Cinnas as well as the owner of Palettars, a WIP species + group! I am also a moderator for Tricksters (owned by my BF) and have worked for a few other smaller species in the past.I have drawn for as long as I could hold a crayon, and Closed Species (CS) + character design in general have stuck with me for over a decade. Nowadays my art queue is long and my motivation is low. Regardless, I am still active in some species groups (Cinnas, mostly). Catch me on Toyhou.se or Discord!

Kins

In the past I have heavily used kinning as a coping mechanism for my identity. As such, I define it for myself as “heavily identifying with, or as, a character / media or other external source”. I have no involvement with the "kin community", nor do I make kinning my entire life. Even still, my core identity has been forever affected by my kins - hell, my chosen name is still a reference to my kins! Overall, please respect the way I represent myself as I struggle with a fractured and neurodivergent identity in adulthood. I know that on the whole my followers / mutuals are sweetie pies and this likely won't be an issue, but all the same...My kins, specifically IDs, are occasionally tied to mood swings or more rarely dissociation*. I have a few "memories" and/or vivid mental imagery for some characters, but not many. I won’t seek "canonmates" out, but if you stumble upon me and feel very strongly that we know each other, feel free to message me on any platform you see fit! While I am not "spiritual" with my kins, I respect that others are, and I'm always down to make new connections based on alike sources/interests. :)For some kins, I really do feel extremely uncomfortable interacting with doubles. Although I refuse to cause trouble — and I do try my best to simply avoid talking about the source if I know a double is in the convo — in some instances I may temporarily block someone if their display name / icon / profile theme is a double. I truly don't mean this personally; it's for my own comfort, and I acknowledge and own up to the fact that I am the one who is squeamish / insecure. Additionally, if we've known each other for long enough and you know we have doubles, please don't let this list discourage you from interacting with me; I will let you know if you cross a line. Otherwise, let's just vibe!And finally, a few of my kins are not on this list for a variety of reasons. If you're curious, ask!——

Commissions

I work a lot. From baking overnight in a doughnut shop (Midnight - 10 AM EST) on Mondays / Tuesdays, to being a catering administrator the rest of the week (8 AM - 6 PM EST), I am constantly busy with one thing or another IRL; as such, fitting owed art into my schedule has proven difficult. To re-emphasize in my TOS, I do not recommend ordering from me if you are uncomfortable with long wait times (6+ months). This long wait is not a guarantee, as I of course try to finish sooner, but it's a possibility to keep in mind.I am most known for my work with Cinnas, a species created and owned by Kenna / @darkvvision! Most of my art examples are Cinnas, though I am up for almost anything. I can do customs as well as regular comms for the species. Details for custom Cinnas are on my Trello.For non-Cinnas, as well as non-customs, pricing is case-by-case. I so rarely get commissions that aren't customs that I haven't had time to standardize my prices for other commission types!Please DM me on Discord for the fastest reply about a quote for a commission!
